Pre-K at Loving Arms Academy is a purposeful, joyful year of preparation. Our curriculum is aligned with kindergarten readiness standards and delivered through engaging, hands-on lessons that challenge children while keeping learning fun. By the end of the year, children are reading simple words, writing their names, and solving basic math problems with confidence.
Beyond academics, we focus on the whole child — building self-regulation, problem-solving, and the ability to work and play well with others. These skills matter just as much as letters and numbers, and we give them equal attention every single day.
What Makes Our Pre-K Special
Reading Readiness
Phonics, sight words, and print concepts are taught through structured lessons and daily reading practice.
Writing & Fine Motor
Children practice letter formation, name writing, and drawing to build the fine motor skills needed for kindergarten.
Math Foundations
Number sense, addition, subtraction, measurement, and geometry are introduced through games and real-world activities.
STEM Exploration
Science experiments, building challenges, and critical thinking activities develop curiosity and problem-solving skills.
Social Studies & Community
Children learn about families, communities, and the world around them through projects, discussions, and guest visitors.
Field Trips & Events
Enriching field trips and special events bring learning to life and create memories that last well beyond the classroom.
